Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Middle School Science Teacher at Southtowns Catholic School. The Middle School Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science lessons, developing curriculum, and facilitating effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
The role will require presence on-site at the school located in Lake View, NY.
Qualifications
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Expertise in science education, specifically middle school level
- Knowledge of NYS / NextGen standards for Science
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
- Teaching certification in the relevant subject area
