Cost Engineer

Looking for an Engineer to lead global cost reduction efforts, collaborating with key stakeholders worldwide. The mission of this role is to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and technology for products and manufacturing objectives.

Job Responsibilities
- Assess supplier capabilities in design, manufacturing, and quality.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance delivery, quality, and cost efficiency using lean manufacturing principles.
- Negotiate contracts covering price, payment terms, and transportation.
- Estimate costs & Implement Value Engineering to drive cost reduction in design and manufacturing.
- Monitor market prices, trends, and manufacturing advancements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in engineering required. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years' strategic procurement experience in manufacturing, preferably in Automotive or Aerospace.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and MS Office applications.
- Experience with sheet metal, international sourcing, and willingness to travel up to 30%.
- SAP experience preferred
- CAD / CAM experience preferred
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
