This specialty contractor has been a proven leader in the construction industry for over 30 years. With operations in multiple states, this firm offers a range of construction specialties including drywall, acoustical ceilings, Metal framing, metal panels, plaster and specialty walls and ceiling.
Their projects range from Hospitals, Education, Entertainment, Health care etc.
Job Description
My client is seeking a Project Manager with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in drywall and acoustic construction subcontracting experience
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, collaborating with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including time lines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate and communicate project activities with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in managing complex projects, from planning through to completion.
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven track record as a Project Manager
- Field experience preferred
- Drywall and acoustics experience preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Quick bid
- Assertive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
