What we’re seeking :
Frontier Communications is seeking a highly skilled full stack developer to lead the architecture and development of cutting-edge home ecosystem solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, This role demands a deep understanding of system design, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage complex projects from ideation to fruition.
What we need in you :
To be successful in this role you will need strong interpersonal and organizational skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.
Technically, a solid background in full stack development, specifically Node and SQL experience and someone with experience using Flutter will serve you well.
What you’ll do :
You’ll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, reusable components, and services on both client-side and backend side, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Expert in designing and architecting small to large solutions using appropriate design patterns.
- Strong experience designing and working with SQL (RDBMS), NoSQL, and ElasticSearch / OpenSearch.
- Expertise in building mobile apps for Android and iOS natively and with Flutter.
- Experience in building secure, highly available, resilient, scalable distributed systems leveraging clustering and load balancing of web servers, app servers, and messaging systems.
- Deep knowledge of microservices & event-driven architecture patterns.
- Understanding of cloud-native solutions (AWS).
- Strong knowledge of backend development frameworks (NodeJS, PHP).
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology and leveraging tools like Jira, Confluence.
- Strong knowledge of code versioning and CI / CD tools (git, Jenkins).
- Ability to work in a results-oriented, rapidly changing, dynamic, and fast-paced environment that requires collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a team-focused approach towards software development.
- Stay up to date on software industry trends.
- Quick development of proof of concepts.

What background you should have :
- Bachelor’s degree in any STEM field and 5 years of software development experience, or 7+ years as a full stack developer.
- Proven working experience in software engineering with a solid background in relevant technologies.
- Experience using Flutter
Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with Flutter, OpenWRT or prplOS is a plus.
- Knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with AWS and development of highly scalable modules is desirable.
- Agile / Scrum methodology experience.
