Licensed CDI Validation Specialist

A company is looking for a CDI Validation Specialist who assists in the oversight and evaluation of clinical documentation functions.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor CDI staff accuracy, data quality, and integrity

Audit clinical documentation specialists for compliance and accuracy in documentation practices

Collaborate with management to develop and implement ongoing education for CDI specialists

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing, health information management, or related field

At least five years of experience in clinical documentation or equivalent education and experience

Licensed RN

Master's degree preferred

CCDS or CDIP certifications preferred
