Responsibilities
- Administers, develops, runs tests, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.
- Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
- Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, hardware and networking problems.
- Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries.
- Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts.
- Assist with Information Assurances responsibilities by ensuring classified network assess requests are accurate, complete, and properly prepared.
- Provides technical support for system users.
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues / problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Qualifications
- Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI Eligibility
- Experience performing system administration to include but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, installing classified equipment, including monitors, printers, keyboards, card readers.
- Knowledge of the Secure Messaging and Retrieval Tool (SMART) System
- Strong knowledge in managing user accounts / objects within Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience in the creation and issuance of Public Key Infrastructure cards
- Strong knowledge of Service Now
Pay Range
$100,000 - $110,000
