KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist, Power BI Developer to join our Deal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities :

Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboard and report that meet business requirements

  • Connect to various data resources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence
  • Implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models for Power BI and leverage Microsoft Fabric to support Power BI dashboard and deployment
  • Develop DAX queries and calculations in Power BI reports
  • Work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and provide data driven solutions
  • Optimize and improve existing BI systems and reports for performance and scalability
  • Document all reports, dashboards and data models in detail
  • Train and support business users in self-service BI

Qualifications :

  • Minimum two years recent experience in Power BI Development or Data Analytics
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college / university, preference in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of Power BI application security layer models
  • Proficient in DAX, SQL, and data model techniques; knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience connected Power BI to various data resources such as SQLServer, Azure, Excel, etc
  • Ability to interpret business requirement and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with other BI tool and data visualization best practices
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
