Job / Practice Description :
- The physician must provide clinical care to patients in accordance with regulations to include but not limited to obtaining patient history, ordering labs, diagnostic studies
- Arrange referrals to medical specialist or other practitioners when necessary
- Diagnose and treat chronic and acute conditions of patients
- Explain to patients about Healthy Lifestyle behaviors Prescribe treatment and medications based upon AAFP clinical guidelines
- Document patient care services by charting and maintaining records in EPIC
- Coordinate with fellow providers and medical staff
- Knowledge of laws to internal medicine, including HIPPA
Profile Background :
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of New Mexico
