Summary

The ADON will provide clinical / operational leadership for Mental Health Services to include the 105-bed inpatient facility, ED-behavioral health unit, and EmPath units.

Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to clinical / operational liaison, growth, and strategic planning duties for the CHS Division’s ambulatory mental health areas.

Education : Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience : 9 years progressive work experience and 4 years management experience.

State licensure and / or professional certification requirement / s dependent on position.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required

Job Description

The ADON will provide clinical / operational leadership for Mental Health Services to include the 105-bed inpatient facility, ED-behavioral health unit, and EmPath units.

Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to clinical / operational liaison, growth, and strategic planning duties for the CHS Division’s ambulatory mental health areas.

  • Clinical / operational duties include developing strategic goals and objectives and operational activities to achieve planned goals;
  • leading the development of strategic initiatives for program growth and clinical operations; conducting needs assessment and analysis to determine prioritization and impact of strategic and operational initiatives;
  • tracking the progress of strategic plan and process implementation, reporting and providing insight regularly to leadership, developing and present pro-formas and strategic plans to appropriate committee(s) for approval, assessment, and implementation;
  • identifying and establishing relationships with facility leaders and key stakeholders in the community; developing and preparing annual budgets and direct internal and external resources to operate within budget;

establishing and co-leading with the ACNO, medical director, system administrative officer, system nurse executive director, and Mental Health Chair to report on KPIs and action plans.
