Day to Day General Manager Duties :
As the General Manager, you’ll execute strategic long-term and short-term goals to grow the business and profitability of your restaurant, oversee team development, ensure proper training, and manage day-to-day operations (sales, food, labor, and cash) with complete P&L accountability.
You’re responsible for unwavering protection of the safety of the product above all other job priorities and opening and closing the restaurant following specified safety procedures.
You exemplify personal leadership, people leadership, business leadership, and brand leadership. This means you are someone who leads by example, accepts responsibility for mistakes, behaves as a coach and mentor, and is sensitive to team morale.
You’ve got hustle and work with a sense of urgency, have a commitment to food safety and you use your resources efficiently We will provide online management training courses, hands-on practice, in-person workshops, and coaching and support from your Training Store Manager and Area / District Manager.
Keys to Success :
- 1-3 years of entry-level leadership / management or a combination of experience in a restaurant or customer service establishment
- Innovative and creative; applying business solutions to challenges and anticipating challenges to prevent problems
- ServSafe certification required
- Adheres to standards of ethical conduct, compliance and food safety
- Willing to coach and mentor; empower others to grow; nurturing with high emotional intelligence and being sensitive to team morale
- Proven track record exhibiting core leadership competencies
- Able to read, speak, take direction, and comprehend written instructions in the English language
- Humility, humble and generous while effectively communicating with colleagues, customers, vendors and guests
- Physically required to stand (up to 4 hours at a time), walk, bend, and lift up to 65 pounds. Approximately 99% of the time is spent in standing and / or walking mode
- Must be computer literate
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required
- Able to pass a background security check
