Duties and Responsibilities Gallatin College seeks course instructors to teach in Bozeman in one or more of the following specialty areas :
Interior Design topics including intro to and history of design, presentation drawing, space planning, architectural construction and materials, environmental design, textiles and interior finishes, kitchen & bath, light & color, and digital software including Revit and SketchUp.
Required Qualifications Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- Academic degree in English, education, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues within and outside the department
Preferred Qualifications Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- AA or higher degree in Interior Design
- Five or more years of teaching experience
- Five or more years in the Interior Design industry
- Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity
The Successful Candidate Will
- Work professionally and effectively with diverse individuals
- Possess effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Understand the diverse Interior Design field and have a knowledge of the educational process in helping students become work ready
- Have an appreciation of diverse constituencies and add intellectual diversity to the department
