Summary :
Greets, instructs, directs and schedules patients andvisitors. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical supportstaff.
May assist with various duties within the clinic. Verifiesinsurance benefits and assists with referrals. Collects paymentsand prepares cash for deposits.

- High school diploma orequivalent.
- Knowledge of managed carepreferred.
- Ability to operate 10 keycalculator by touch, telephone, computer, copier, and faxmachine.
- Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills and good math knowledgeessential.

Experience
Minimum Requirements :
Three or more years ofexperience in a health care organization.
Preferred Requirements :
- ICD9 and CPT coding (advancedskills)
- Experience with charge posting orcollections.
