As a Senior UX Content Designer for Walmart Connect, you'll distill complex problems into easy-to-understand experiences, creating content that is purposeful and compelling while sharing the Walmart voice and tone.

By collaborating with design, product, engineering and business partners, you'll positively shape experiences for the brands that retail at Walmart.

We're looking for someone with strong skills in : problem solving, facilitating working sessions, presenting to and influencing stakeholders, collaborating with other business functions.

Help us identify, define and implement solutions that go beyond words and integrate seamlessly into the lives of our partners and customers .

You'll sweep us off our feet if you have...

  • 4+ years working as a UX Writer or Content Designer with familiarity of UX writing principles and practices
  • An understanding of user needs such as motivations and behaviors, with the ability to translate them into engaging and actionable UX copy
  • A recognized, strong writing background that brings together brand voice and UX principles
  • Experience in ad tech, tools for advertisers and / or ecommerce products
  • The ability to synthesize information, taking the complex and making it simple
  • The drive to produce great work in short timeframes and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business
  • A self-starter mindset who is well organized and always looking to improve experiences for our partners

You'll make an impact by :

  • Designing best-in-class content experiences with a focus on craft and synthesizing information
  • Developing a deep understanding of challenges and value messages relevant to our ad partners
  • Context shifting across different projects and adapting to changing priorities
  • Communicating effectively with kindness and empathy
  • Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends, in and out of retail and ad tech

Preferred qualifications :

  • Degree in Communications, UX Writing, Content Strategy or similar and at least 4+ years of experience writing for UX / UI and product design
  • Experience participating in peer reviews and working within a crit culture
  • A portfolio with UX case studies showcasing your craft, impact and collaborative process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in UI / UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in UI / UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.

Option 2 : 5 years' experience in UI / UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.

Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate), Driving product development in a user experience area, Master's degree in UI / UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area, Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), UI / UX, Interactive and Visual Design, Electronics Art, Multimedia Design, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.

2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
