Work Location(s) : Midland, TX; Garden City, TX; Mentone, TX
Work Environment : This role requires working in outdoor and industrial settings. Some weekend, holiday, and overtime work is required based on operational needs.
- Operate and maintain LNG equipment, including refrigeration systems, compressors, and engines.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the LNG machinery.
- Perform regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repair and replace damaged parts, and ensure optimal efficiency of operation.
- Monitor system operations to detect potential problems or disruptions in productions
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise
- Maintaining safety standards during the operation of the LNG equipment
- Document all inspections, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with production, safety, engineering and other teams to optimize performance and production of natural gas
- Train other staff members on the operation of LNG equipment
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with company safety procedures and federal regulations.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards
- Monitor and control field operations surrounding machines, adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular safety checks and report any incidents or breaches of safety regulations.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Participate in safety training and drills and stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as an LNG Technician or similar role in the gas industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications in a relevant field is a plus.
