This position plays a crucial part in the operational success of our company. As a Delivery Driver, you will be integral in ensuring that our products are delivered promptly and safely.

This role is perfect for individuals who seek to work in a dynamic, supportive environment and are passionate about providing excellent service.

Please note, this is a part-time position based out of our main office and is not eligible for remote work. As a representative of The Bug Company on the road and at customer locations, you will uphold our commitment to excellence and reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operating company vehicles to transport cargo to and from designated local locations.
• Ensuring cargo is loaded and unloaded properly, securely, and in compliance with company standards.
• Adhering to all safety rules, traffic laws, and regulations during operations.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as refueling and conducting visual inspections before and after trips. Reporting any mechanical issues or potential problems encountered.
• Complying with all applicable company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting any delays, accidents, or other traffic and travel issues encountered on the road.
• Utilizing navigation tools and applications to determine the best routes and make timely deliveries.
• Exhibiting professionalism and a friendly demeanor at all times, both as an individual and within team settings.
• Assuming additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of using navigation and GPS devices to plot delivery routes.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, and load and unload cargo with attention to safety and efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, to interact smoothly with diverse individuals internally and externally.
• Commitment to adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, enhancing the company’s public image.
• Ability to understand and speak English
• Ability to count to 100 and simple math
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Must be able to work directly with and handle live insects

Schedule :

Wednesday’s 8 am - 1 pm

Hours may fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and company needs
