Superlanet is recruiting for a Biomedical Equipment Supervisor for a healthcare organization in Southern California. This position will support the Client organization while they bring on a newly acquired hospital.
This will be an in-person, FTE opportunity.
The Biomedical Supervisor applies a broad scope of diagnostic, therapeutic, and equipment maintenance technologies used in the delivery of patient care.
May provide technical support during highly instrumented medical procedures. Provides consultation, instruction and / or technical direction for medical, nursing and other paramedical staff in the safe use of biomedical equipment.
Requirements :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Nine years of related experience, education / training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus Five years of related experience / training.

Experience and proven success in subject matter knowledge of clinical technology for a medical specialty including biomedical equipment management, medical device technology, server / network operations, and security.
- Ability to apply principles to an acute care setting to ensure operations meet regulatory standards.
- Experienced with Regulatory surveys and CMS compliance.
- Experienced at managing the day to day operations of a Biomedical department.
- Requires travel to multiple sites and working various hours responding during emergencies when needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- AAMI CHTM or CBET Certification or other Clinical Technology specialty.
- Prior hospital CE supervisor experience.
