POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing operational efficiency within our organization. This role involves data analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning to ensure that our operation runs smoothly, cost-effectively, and in alignment with our business goals.
The Operations Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth analyses, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to drive continuous operational enhancements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Analysis : Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive operational decisions
- Reporting and Metrics : Create, maintain, and present reports and dashboards that communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Provide actionable insights to inform decision-making
- Design, build and implement predictive models with high dimensional, fast-moving real-time datasets using machine learning, natural language, and statistical analysis methods such as classification, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, and validation tools
- Develop processes and tools that monitor, analyze and continuously improve model performance and data accuracy
- Lead data driven projects from definition to execution, driving and influencing business decisions and outcomes
- Forecasting : Utilize historical data and statistical models to forecast future demands.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruptions and ensure the safety and security of flights.
- Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics or other relevant degree
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in data analytics; or equivalent combination.?
- Proficient in Technical Tools : Demonstrate expertise in Excel, Python, TensorFlow, PowerBI, Jupyter Notebook, Azure ML Studio, and cloud technologies, enabling efficient data analysis and visualization to drive informed decision-making.
- Familiarity with Web-Based Platforms : Possess a working knowledge of various web-based platforms such as Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Domo, etc.
facilitating seamless collaboration and project management across teams.
- Strong Communication Skills : Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Language Models : Have experience working with Language Models (LLMs) such as BERT, GPT, etc., leveraging their capabilities to enhance data analysis and generate actionable insights.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must possess the legal right to work in the United States
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, able to work effectively with others
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
