We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the manufacturing industry, located in East Canton, Ohio.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, responsible for administrative and front desk duties, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, providing information, transferring calls, or taking messages as necessary.
- Welcome visitors to the manufacturing facility and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals they are seeking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
- Keep track of visitor sign-in / out logs, issue visitor badges, and monitor access to the facility.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing mail, arranging for courier services when needed.
- Provide administrative support to various departments within the company, including data entry, filing, document preparation, and maintaining office supplies.
- Schedule and organize meetings, conferences, and appointments for staff members, maintaining calendars, and sending reminders as needed.
- Monitor and maintain office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and fax machines, coordinating repairs and troubleshooting with relevant service providers.
- Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate customer credit records.
- Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience in data entry tasks
- Ability to handle email correspondence efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with various clients and staff members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Familiarity with organizing and maintaining files
- Experience in scheduling appointments in a professional setting
