Security Engineer
JOB SUMMARY FOR SECURITY ENGINEER :
Seeking a Security Professional with 5+ years of experience in custom dashboard creation in Splunk.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SECURITY ENGINEER :
- Create Splunk dashboards to deliver to executives and other areas in IT organization.
- Python and / or PowerShell programming
- Effectively analyze and interpret data to support our cybersecurity initiatives.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SECURITY ENGINEER :
- Expertise in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
- Proven experience in building custom dashboards and visualizations.
- Ability to fully understand and integrate various data sources into Splunk.
- Solid foundation in cybersecurity is essential, along with proficiency in Python and / or PowerShell programming. Hands-on experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms, particularly Cortex XSOAR.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR SECURITY ENGINEER :
- Experience in developing and maintaining scripts to enhance Splunk functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in Splunk and cybersecurity are a plus.
- Ability to design, develop, and implement playbooks and automated workflows.
