Job Overview :
We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to support the day-to-day function of the company inclusive of business, process, technology and organizational change efforts.
They will work closely with the CEO in the execution of internal company-wide initiatives. They will support the day-to-day workflow of the business, provide high-quality work within established budgets and timeframes, and be accountable for flawless communications.
The candidate should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The position is based in Los Angeles and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Job Responsibilities :
- Overall administration, operations and office management duties including policies and procedures, IT / technology, website management / oversight, facilities and vendor management, office supplies and furnishings, and budget
- Management of company organizational & tech platforms, as well as process implementation, improvements and efficiencies
- Own creation, roll out and implementation of operational tools for the organization
- Ensure all internal company policies, procedures, and updates are communicated clearly and in a timely manner to the company
- Report out and provide analysis on the companys operations (Operational KPIs, Utilization, ROI, Run Rate, Capacity, etc)
- Manage internal projects from inception to completion, including cost, budget tracking, scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Implement operational processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Prepare onboarding materials, schedule, and assist in the facilitation of the new hire onboarding process; coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience
- Manage workplace culture initiatives including planning internal events, employee birthdays and gifting, and supporting in the development and execution of employee trainings
- Support scheduling and administrative duties for the CEO & Operations team
Qualifications & Requirements :
- 5+ years of proven operations and / or project management experience in managing multiple streams of work.
- Startup experience is strongly preferred.
- High level of business acumen, curiosity, and willingness to immerse themselves in the various functions of the business in order to streamline processes and create efficiency.
- A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to process information quickly and in a manner that is consistent with existing procedures.
- Ability to work well under pressure with tight and changing deadlines.
- Self-motivated, self-starter who is confident to take the initiative and carry out duties with minimal supervision.
- Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to confidently interface with leaders.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Mastery of Google Suite and Mac OS including Keynote, Monday.com, Harvest, Dropbox, Expensify - or similar operations tools.
