Job Description

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors during the preconstruction phase to establish project objectives, budgets, and schedules
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, project schedules, and feasibility studies to support decision-making during the preconstruction phase
  • Oversee the bid and procurement process, negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best value for the project
  • Create and manage project budgets, track costs, and provide regular financial reporting to stakeholders
  • Lead and coordinate project meetings, ensuring clear communication among all team members
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure that all work is completed to specifications, on time, and within budget
  • Maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure ongoing satisfaction and future opportunities
  • Foster a culture of safety and quality on all projects, adhering to industry best practices and regulations

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong oral communication and written skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Management, or a related field
  • Ability to successfully manage all aspects of K-12 projects including schedules, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive project completion.
  • Collaboration with the Superintendent to develop, refine, and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and tracked
