Essential Job Accountabilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials
- Perform various activities including but not limited to : road building, fine grading, finishing, sloping, banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating, stockpiling, road surface maintenance, building and maintaining road berms, loading trucks, and trenching
- Operate equipment proficiently and safely
- Ensure operation of equipment is within capabilities and limitations
- Perform required safety inspections and complete documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Perform other duties as required
Work Experience
- Must have construction experience / heavy construction preferred
- Minimum of 5 year experience required
- Batch Plant experience preferred
