Job Description : Volunteer Coach Performing Arts
Position Type : Supervisory Role Marching Band / Theatre / Choir / Dance

Qualifications :
- Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Band Safety course
- Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Concussion in Sports What You Need to Know course
- Current Certification in CPR or Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online CPR and AED training course
- Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online Heat Illness Prevention course
- Content area related degree or approved equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of essential skills, techniques, rules and safety concerns for the Performing Arts Activity to be coached
- Skill in communicating with all stakeholders
- Skill in communicating with parents and other Performing Arts professionals
- General knowledge necessary to adhere to rules set out by ABODA () and Peoria Unified School District #11
OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
- Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
- Registration at National Federation of State High School Associations ( ) for training
- Must establish a sense of comradery among our students through teambuilding, fundraising, service projects, etc.
