About The Position
Job Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Job Specialty : Surgical Services - Operating Room CST Job Duration : 9 Weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 45 - 17 : 15) or 5x8-Hour (06 : 45 - 15 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : Facility allows calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks, with called off hours potentially broken down to add up to 1 shift.
Experience : Minimum 2 years License : South Carolina RN License preferred, but will consider candidates with a pending license if proof of application is provided.
Certifications : BLS, NBSTSA. Does not accept NCCT. Must-Have : - Radiation badge provided by the agency- Types of cases : General Surgery, Robotics, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Gynecology, Eyes, Urology, ENT Job Description : Work within a 9-operating room facility- On-call is required with variability based on the number of CSTs- Weekend on-call requirements- Potential float between service lines;
no floating to sister facilities- National certifications in Basic Life Support and National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting are required- Ensure all requested time off is included at the time of submission for consideration- Be prepared for emergency response team duties during the hurricane season (June - November)- Complete orientation and required modules pre-start Note : Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis, prioritizing non-local candidates.
Traveler must ensure compliance and licensing are in order pre-start.
