Overview of the Role :
Pelago is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Content Marketing to lead our content strategy and execution efforts.
This role is critical in shaping and promoting Pelago's mission through compelling content across various platforms. The Senior Manager of Content Marketing will work closely with the Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Sales Enablement, Public Relations and Product Marketing teams to create, distribute, and optimize content that drives engagement and supports our go-to-market strategies.
This will be a hybrid role, located in commutable distance to our Denver or NYC offices for weekly lunches, collaboration, and teamwork.
In this role you will...
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that integrates Pelago's mission and editorial narratives.
- Create a robust content calendar and distribution process in collaboration with Demand Gen and Sales Enablement teams.
- Establish performance metrics in partnership with the Demand Gen lead to measure content effectiveness.
Content Creation :
- Develop campaigns based on go-to-market briefs for social media, website, email, and sales enablement.
- Manage and create posts for Pelago's social media channels (primarily LinkedIn) in collaboration with the Digital Marketing team.
- Write and edit website copy, email campaigns, sales enablement materials, thought leadership presentations, social and display ad copy, and client testimonials.
- Assist with creation of webinar content, including topics, scripts, and promotional materials.
- Partner with editorial and design teams to produce high-quality short to medium form content, including multimedia.
Content Promotion :
- Post, monitor, and engage with audiences across social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn.
- Respond to comments and interactions on social media to foster community engagement.
Collaboration and Optimization :
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital / email marketing, demand generation, sales enablement, and product marketing.
- Collaborate with non-marketing teams (product, clinical, coaching) to identify opportunities for creative content.
- Develop a framework to test and continuously improve content performance through optimization and scalable best practices.
- Report content performance metrics and insights to the organization to inform future strategies.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Assist with PR requests and collaborate with PR firm for fast turnaround commentary and award submissions.
- Manage freelance writers as needed to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery.
The background we are looking for...
- 6+ years of proven experience in content marketing, with a focus on strategy and execution.
- A background in B2B and Healthcare or Benefits.
- Organizational experience developing and executing against a cohesive roadmap that aligns with the broader marketing strategy and activates a narrative.
- Proven experience in content production, understanding how to efficiently produce high-quality content with limited resources.
- A clear passion for storytelling, and an innate ability to drive brand narratives.
- Experience shaping a brand’s footprint through multiple content channels and multi-media platforms.
- Driven consistency and adoption of a brand voice and tone across all content initiatives.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate into actionable strategies.
- Experience in developing and managing social media content and engagement.
- Experience navigating growing companies and a rapidly changing environment with adaptability and patience.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools - Hubspot is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The provided range reflects our US target salary range for this full-time position, which is part of our broader total compensation package, including stock options, comprehensive benefits, and incentive pay applicable to eligible roles.
Individual pay within the range will vary based on a variety of factors like role-related experience and education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business factors.
