About The Position
Job Title : Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Specialty : Inpatient Job Duration : Permanent Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : At least 1 year of experience preferred License : Must have permanent State licensure or Temporary Permit under direct supervision pending permanent licensure - Required Certifications : BLS Certification - Required Must-Have : Experience with neurogenic patients, Dysphagia, and pediatrics preferred Job Description : Provide a full range of diagnostic and clinical services for inpatients and outpatients across various age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Address speech and language problems, cognitive deficits, voice and fluency issues, and swallowing disorders.- Work within a multidisciplinary team approach to deliver optimal patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborative care planning.- May require coverage for potential Saturdays.- Eligibility for a sign-on bonus benefits candidates applying through designated channels.
- Adhere to institutional and professional policies regarding employment transitions and application processes.
