Position Overview
We are seeking a Per Diem Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to patients in Psychiatric Pods. This position requires coverage of both weekend and weekday nights, or rotating shifts.
A shift differential is offered for both weekday nights and weekend nights. Additionally, there is an added safety incentive increase.
The role involves working within the nursing process to ensure quality patient care and a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe direct care to assigned group of patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to implement individualized care plans
- Assist with special tests and procedures
- Participate in orientation and training of new personnel
- Administer medication and document clinical findings
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- 1 year of directly related experience
- Current RN license in NM or reciprocal agreement
- CPR certification for Healthcare / BLS
