Job Summary
Provide nursing care in accordance with facility and nursing service policy and procedure while collaboratively and efficiently establishing a workplace with attention to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensures quality resident care is consistently delivered in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines
- Partners with the assisted living manager on recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation, training and in-services for the Certified Medication Aids
- Supervision of CMAs who give direct resident care on the shift
- Collaborates and partners with physicians, pharmacy, and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for residents
- Conducts comprehensive resident pre-admission, admission, and quarterly assessments
- Collaborates with the Assisted Living Manager to provide on-call support for the community
- Ensures compliance, efficiency and team's understanding of policies and procedures
- Perform compliance rounds at least twice during a shift to ensure resident's needs are met
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be congenial to residents, residents' families and associates and respond in a professional manner
- Must be able to respond to an emergency in the assisted living setting
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse License in the state of Georgia
- Good standing with the board of nursing
- CPR certification
- Supervisory experience and experience in assisted living preferred
- Excellent technical assessment and documenting skills
- Quality Assurance / improvement and staff development experience
Schedule : Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
Salary : $25-$31 an hour, based on experience
