We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Marketing Manager - Promotional Products.
In this role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the on-going management and long-term growth of NYU Langone Healths (NYULH) branded merchandise program.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure brand consistency and maximize the impact of our corporate merchandise.
Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Brand Standards and Governance, this role will work closely with the broader Brand, Experience, Creative & Design department to ensure adherence to NYULH brand standards and facilitate efficient brand-related processes.
Job Responsibilities :
Program Management :
- Oversee complete lifecycle of 500+ promotional product requests annually
- Execute 10+ large-scale promotional product related programs annually. Responsibilities include strategic plan creation, supplier identification, product selection, micro-site build and all program logistics
- Manage day-to-day and further build out promotional product e-commerce websites (, product selection and refreshes, inventory management, program logistics, website functionality / offerings)
- Ensure programs adhere to timelines and budgets and met objectives
Customer Relationship Management :
- Offer guidance and proactively communicate with customers / suppliers throughout program lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Address / escalate inquiries and concerns promptly
- Build and maintain relationships with preferred suppliers
Sourcing :
- Curate a diverse, high-quality and brand compliant assortment of promotional products
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes
- Enforce brand standards. Review product artwork and placement to ensure NYULH’s standards are consistently met
Marketing & Promotion :
- Develop programming to build awareness and excitement around e-commerce websites
- Oversee creation of associated creative and collateral
- Collaborate on product design and creative concepts as needed
Reporting & Documentation :
- Maintain detailed records
- Track supplier performance to ensure service level agreements are adhered to
- Analyze results for future learnings
Minimum Qualifications :
To qualify you must have a Minimum of 8+ years of experience in branding, merchandising, and / or the promotional product arena
3+ years of account management experience
Keen understanding of brand identity with the ability to translate guidelines into actionable recommendations
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for design consistency
Great communicator with the ability to interact and navigate senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships
Effective multitasker with the ability to pivot when priorities and / or needs change
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with promotional products and decoration techniques
Experience working at a complex, matrixed organization
