- Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use.- Maintain and document sterilization records and inventory.
- Operate sterilization devices, washer-disinfectors, and automated cleaning equipment.- Work collaboratively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
- Adhere to infection control and sterile processing standards and protocols.- Troubleshoot and report problems with equipment immediately.
