Job Description :

Job Title : Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Department : Aptitude Scholastic Test (AST)

Location : Remote

Job Overview :

The COO for Ambright's Aptitude Scholastic Test (AST) will oversee the operations and ensure the smooth delivery, implementation, and growth of the AST.

The COO will work closely with the executive team to develop strategic initiatives that align with the organisation’s mission and drive operational excellence.

This role requires a high level of expertise in educational assessments, management, and operational scaling.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the daily operations of the AST division, ensuring efficiency and adherence to organisational goals.

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the long-term objectives of AST.

Oversee the execution of the test’s delivery, including scheduling, distribution, and monitoring.

Ensure high standards of quality control and compliance with educational assessment regulations.

Collaborate with the executive team to shape the vision and long-term strategy for the AST.

Analyse industry trends, identify growth opportunities, and implement initiatives to improve the competitive position of the AST.

Lead discussions and negotiations to establish partnerships that enhance the visibility and recognition of AST globally.

Act as a key representative for the AST in high-level meetings and conferences.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.

Ensure that the test adheres to all relevant educational, legal, and ethical standards.

Develop risk management strategies to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.

Requirements : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field (MBA or EdD preferred).

Proven experience (10+ years) in senior management or operational roles, within the education or assessment industry.

Strong knowledge of educational testing systems, regulations, and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex projects across multiple regions.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

Preferred Skills :

Experience working with academic institutions, both nationally and internationally.

Familiarity with educational testing frameworks and quality assurance processes.

Cross-cultural communication and global business acumen.
