About The Position
Job Title : Technologist Job Specialty : Cath Lab Job Duration : Permanent Shift : Day - 5x8 - 07 : 30 - 16 : 00, 40 Hours per Week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1 year of experience required License : Not specified Certifications : RCIS preferred, ARRT certified applicants willing to train for RCIS certification accepted Must-Have : Proficiency in Cath Lab procedures and equipment Job Description : Work in a complete Cath Lab with Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon.
- Provide comprehensive Cardiac and Peripheral Services.- Perform procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy.
- Handle carotid diagnostic and stenting, and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including Atherectomy.- Conduct Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy.
- Be proficient with various devices in the Cath Lab such as Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices.
- Operate two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms.- Use McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System.- Rotate between scrubbing and circulating, including operating X-ray equipment.
- Assist with pre and post-procedure areas, transport patients, and manage inventory.- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weeknights, holidays, and weekends.
Note : This position currently offers a sign-on bonus.
