Job Title : Entry-Level Event Assistant
Location : Denver, CO
Position Type : Full-Time
Job Overview : The Entry-Level Event Assistant will support the Event Planning team in the organization and execution of various events.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and coordination, working closely with experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including but not limited to corporate events, weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Support the team in researching venues, vendors, and suppliers.
- Help with the creation and distribution of event materials such as invitations, agendas, and promotional items.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of event spaces, ensuring everything is organized and in place.
- Greet and assist event attendees, providing excellent customer service and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Maintain event databases and contact lists.
- Support the team in post-event activities, including collecting feedback and analyzing event success.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing emails.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in event planning, hospitality, or related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
