About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : CT Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00 PM - 03 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Radiologic Technologist credential from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) required Certifications : BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.- Nuclear Medical Tech credential from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Specialties in Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy are also accepted.- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Must-Have : Great teamwork and collaborative skills Job Description : Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients while selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.- Prepare and administer contrast media and / or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations.
- Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity.- Monitor protocols, recommending updates or refinements as needed.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.- Work in a fast-paced setting with GE scanners.- Availability for weekend shifts is preferred, with flexibility for every other weekend.
Please note : Candidates will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a preference for every weekend but accommodating every other weekend as needed.
