Job Description
The Data Analyst is responsible for mapping datasets, analyzing datasets, and documenting / troubleshooting any difficulties in creating database entity relationships.
Responsibilities of this role include coordinating data requirements and documenting data mapping and data translation rules.
Data analysts will work with the Business Analyst to ensure that analytics, dashboards, and reports clearly deliver insight to business stakeholders.& &
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical skills to not only extract and manipulate data, but also understand and interpret complex data and data issues, and then communicate those results with recommendations
- Ability to understand complex database design / structure with limited documentation.
- Strong technical proficiency with SQL and related technologies
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI, or other dashboarding tools favored by the client
- Experience with Sagemaker Data Analytics and other AWS-based data analytic tools
- Experience and understanding in business intelligence and real-time analytics
Common Optional Qualifications
- Experience with non-relational, NoSQL databases and various data-storage systems
- Experience moving data within cloud-based environments
