About The Position

ID : 61817708 Shift : Generally set schedule 3 days / wk but likely to include 1 weekend day Description : Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer.

Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date.

Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.General job duties. Types of procedures required.

The therapist evaluates, develops a care plan and independently treats patients referred to the outpatient speech therapy clinic.

Patient care is biased towards Outpatient clinical care. Depending on census coverage is provided for Acute care and completions of modified barium swallow studies as per therapists skillset.

Equipment utilized in the unit / dept.ReDoc is utilized for computerized documentation and reference to Meditech computerized documentation is available for electronic health records.

Outcomes assessments specific to referring diagnoses Required skills and minimum years of experience.Minimum 2 years experience preferably with outpatient and Rehab hospital experiencePreferred skills : Acute care experience;

independent and proficient in completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies in radiology without supervision by a radiologist.

Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required.BLS, HI rehab licensure in appropriate disciplineShift or schedule requirements.

Generally set schedule 3 days / week, M-F but may include an occasional weekend or holiday dependent on staffing.Floating to other units / departments.

Possible floating to IP rehab department depending on census at the time and staffing. Dress casual per HBMC dress code for patient care delivered in the outpatient clinic.

Scrubs permissible if floating to IP Rehab. Training in EMR documentation provided and orientation to rehab area / expectations Position Billing string Medefis Guaranteed Hours : Contract Weeks : 26
