R&M Technician -Maintenance
The pay listed is what one could reasonably expect to earn depending upon work experience.
POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Operations Director, this position is primarily responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our Las Vegas facilities and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and repairs in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Ability to understand, troubleshoot, repair building facilities and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprint and schematics
- Ability to prioritize repair requests.
- Ability to communicate clearly with contractors and kitchen staff
QUALIFICATIONS : Scheduling :
Scheduling :
Able to work nights and weekends when necessary to complete projects. Able to be on-call for emergencies.
Physical Ability :
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Work will involve a lot of physical labor (i.e. lifting, bending, reaching, stretching, etc.)
Will be required to stand / walk for up to 8 hours / day.
Good hand eye coordination especially with using tools and equipment.
Mental Ability :
Proficient in the English language.
Ability to read and follow blueprints.
Ability to read and follow detailed plans,
Planning / organization skills (ability to set long-term or short-term goals)
Pre-employment Requirements :
Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
Environmental Conditions :
Outdoors on roofs tops
Indoors inside freezers and refrigerators.
Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
Education :
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience :
3 years of experience in installation, repair and maintenance of facility and kitchen equipment systems.
Desired Skills :
Proficient in the repair of high and low voltage electrical systems and equipment.
Proficient in the repair of food processing and bakery plant equipment.
Desired Attributes :
Work independently or with a group to meet repair or construction deadlines. Resourceful in resolving repair problems
Willingness to learn and perform various other jobs
Other :
Must provide own transportation for the shop, or to job site as needed
Must have own basic tools
Must posses a valid Drivers License with clean abstract.
