JOB SUMMARY

A Director in Global Risk Management & REMS (GRMR) Account Management (AM) is an experienced thought leader in the biopharmaceutical industry and a trusted advisor to clients with accountability for REMS lifecycle services associated with overall program account management.

Viewed as a key advisor to customers, this role will contribute by assisting in the business direction, strategy, priorities and quality of the Account Management function within GRMR.

Expectations include the ability to build relationships (internally and externally), identify client needs, design strategic and innovative solutions, manage client deliverables, coordinate with other internal program representatives, and deliver client contracts on time, on budget and within scope.

This practiced professional exhibits decision quality, action orientation, communication savvy, and resourcefulness as the primary steward of client(s) GRMR program(s).

They will aid in the management and oversight of the Account Management team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Productivity

  • Builds positive working relationships with clients, staff, managers, leadership, and internal support teams.
  • Achieves billable utilization and managed book of business targets in service to client engagements.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to build skills, experiences, and relationships by contributing to program engagements and internal initiatives.
  • Manages heavy workloads and competing responsibilities.

Delivery

  • Maintain the GRMR AM approach, structure, and goals
  • Owner and driver of AM best practices, processes and interactions across program lifecycle, inclusive of other functional areas supporting GRMR specific program activities
  • Develop and Maintain AM team training materials
  • Responsible for training AM team on templates, best practices, work process etc..
  • Oversee project schedules and resource allocations for all GRMR projects and drive successful delivery of project commitments.
  • Manage / Mentor AM team members
  • Support the build and evolution of high-performing AM team, nurture talent and provide performance coaching
  • Maintain effective training program for GRMR AM activities
  • Provide subject matter expertise to project teams as they conduct activities
  • Provides subject matter expertise to design, implement, and maintain their REMS projects
  • Provide FSR strategic planning recommendations to expand service features and maximize client satisfaction
  • POC for client interactions escalated from AM function and program ownership
  • Participate in sponsor / regulatory audits as required
  • Achieves billable utilization and managed book of business targets in service to client engagements
  • Participate in GRMR leadership activities as applicable
  • Other duties as assigned

REMS Industry

  • Builds significant relationships across the brand and generic pharmaceutical industry, to develop future GRMR opportunities
  • Monitor all relevant legislation, regulations, guidance, and best practices affecting FRS services.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to advance GRMR awareness and represent GRMR solution in broader corporate initiatives

Business Development

  • Support Business Development activities as applicable
  • Provide input into proposals and budgets

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or higher degree (e.g. MBA, PhD, PharmD) in business or life sciences, or PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) / Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent with significant experience (5+ years)
  • Ability to assess client needs and deliver high-quality, effective communications
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office, Internet fluency and other related tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Familiarity with Project Management tools (e.g. MS Project, SharePoint, SmartSheet)
  • Demonstrated project management experience required
  • Experience managing successful working relationships in a cross-functional, matrix environment
  • Ability to multi-task, think critically and prioritize competing high focus priorities
  • Skilled in directing the work of others and driving results
  • Aptitude for translating ambiguity and uncertainty into actionable next steps through resourcefulness, resiliency, and adaptability
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Excellent time-management skills

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,225 to $216,775. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position.

Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.

In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions / bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
