Accounts Receivable Specialist
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support the Accounts Receivable department's efforts by ensuring full compliance with policy, procedures, and the timely posting and documenting of payments received.
- Ability to communicate with verbal and written proficiency
- Post payments received from the branches
- Submit credit card deposit data to the NYO
- Transmit our remote deposits to BOA
- Compile the collection sheets for checks
- Scan in paid tickets to DocuXplorer
- Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up
- Perform other activities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements, Abilities and Skills :
Associates degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited university or college preferred.Minimum of 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.Previous experience in credit & collections, and billing systems.Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational and reporting skills.Industry experience preferred (i.e. Wholesale Distribution with foreign / domestic supplier mix).Exceptional organization skills and ability to follow through on commitments.Exhibit exceptional customer service to internal as well as external customersAbility to effectively manage tasksAdvanced Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is requiredMaintain and promote workplace safetySecuring and transferring cash or other assets.Some of the benefits of being a part of our growing Parts Authority family :
