Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our development projects from conception through financial closing.
This role requires a strong focus on client relationships and a comprehensive understanding of the real estate development process, including permitting in the U.
S. The ideal candidate will have modular construction experience and a keen eye for detail, ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Leadership : Oversee all phases of the real estate development process, from initial conception to financial closing.
Ensure all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Client Engagement : Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and development partners. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Regulatory Compliance : Manage the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders as needed.
- Financial Acumen : Read and interpret proformas to understand project financials. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure projects remain financially viable and profitable.
- Estimating Support : While little estimating experience is required, work closely with estimators to develop accurate budgets and forecasts.
Ensure all estimates align with project goals.
Detail Orientation : Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the project, ensuring quality standards are met and documentation is thorough.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in project management within the real estate development or construction sector, with a focus on modular construction.
- Proven ability to manage projects from conception to financial closing, with a strong understanding of the U.S. real estate process and permitting requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-facing approach.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret financial documents and proformas.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
