Overview

This job is for a Multi-Asset Portfolio Management role within the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) investment team for the Private Bank.

You will be responsible for the provision of investment expertise around a global multi-asset portfolio for DPM eligible clients and prospects.

Additionally, you will work closely with other internal stakeholders (Portfolio Managers, Risk / Control functions, Investment Strategists, Private Banker and / or Trust Officers) for ongoing maintenance and information provision for the underlying products and performance.

You will be responsible to contribute to our investment dialogue and process.

What You'll Do

  • Adherence to clients' investment needs, objectives, and constraints, as well as flexibility to implement customized investment offering where needed and appropriate
  • Embrace the fiduciary concept without exception and ensure that clients' after-sales needs are met in terms of communications and performance reporting, and any ad hoc requests
  • Remain abreast of development of investment committee views as well as the asset allocations determined by them. Remain up to date with developments in the financial industry including new concepts, theories, quantitative models, white papers, etc
  • Be aware of and adhere to current regulatory framework including US federal & state tax laws, ERISA rules and legislation, and trust laws
  • Establish and maintain long-term performance record of accomplishment for managed products and accounts
  • Bring new investment ideas promptly to colleague and clients' attention, particularly in non-traditional asset classes and position these solutions within client portfolios where appropriate

Skills You'll Need

  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA and / or CFA preferred
  • Relevant experience as a portfolio manager with a strong performance track record
  • Comprehensive investment knowledge, experience with trusts (as sole or co-trustee) is a plus
  • Experience with client relationship management, especially with ultra-high net worth clients and a working knowledge of the unique requirements around US Trust investing
  • Series 7 and Series 65 / 66 preferred but not required

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $110,00 to $220,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.

Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
