About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Medical-Surgical Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, Every other weekend and holidays required as scheduled.
Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent strong Med-Surg experience required License : NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications : NIHSS, BLS (AHA), CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours Must-Have : Telemetry experience Job Description : Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs.- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.- Manage care of patients.- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with a professional nursing practice model.- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Information : ASN is required; BSN is preferred.- Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write) is required.
