- 10+ years of Aircraft Structural Analyst experience
- 7+ years of Fuselage Structures experience
- Experience with Metallic materials
- Knowledge of NASTRAN (AE)
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering / Math / Science
Nice to Have Skills & Experience :
- MD-90 expertise
- Knowledge of FEDAMS and Patran
- Modifications and Repairs experience
- BCA Loads Model Experience
Job Description :
Insight Global is looking for a Structural Analyst to support the X-66 Structures team for an industry leading global aerospace company in Huntington Beach, CA.
The X-66 is the next-generation Experimental Aircraft developed in partnership with NASA. Its goal is to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.
This aircraft will test the Transonic Truss-Braced Wing (TTBW) airframe concept, which, when combined with advancements in propulsion systems, materials, and systems architecture, could significantly reduce fuel consumption and emissions compared to today's best-in-class aircraft.
As a Structural Analyst for this program, you will be responsible for conducting stress analyses for the fuselage systems of the X-66.
Previous experience with Loads Modeling with commercial aircrafts is highly desirable.
Compensation :
$80k / yr to $90k / yr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
