BrioHealth Solutions Inc., Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronics for our innovative wearable medical devices.

Your expertise in circuit design and electrical engineering principles will be instrumental in translating concepts into life-changing products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with industry and medical device standards, and contribute to enhancing device performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electronics for wearable medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry and medical device standards.
  • Translate concepts and ideas into tangible, life-changing products through effective circuit design and development processes.
  • Develop and review product requirements, specifications, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Verification and Validation (V&V) test protocols, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Ensure that designs meet applicable industry and medical device standards, such as safety, EMC / EMI, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across the company, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and regulatory affairs, to ensure successful product integration.
  • Research, select, evaluate, and test components for circuit designs, considering performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Stay current with advancements in technology to enhance performance, increase reliability, and improve manufacturability.
  • Lead and participate in design reviews to ensure high-quality and robust circuit designs.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in circuit design and electrical engineering.
  • Proven understanding of electrical engineering principles and their application in circuit design.
  • Proficiency in the design of analog, digital, and power electronics.
  • Experience with schematic design and layout using CAD tools for PCB design such as OrCAD, Cadence Allegro, and / or Altium Designer.
  • Experience with embedded systems, sensors, actuators, low-power battery-operated systems, debug, and testing.
  • Experience with EMC / EMI design and testing for regulatory standards.
  • Work experience in the Medical Device industry or other highly regulated industries
