Warehouse Associate

We are conducting Electric Meter upgrades in the Denver Colorado area, and are currently hiring for a Warehouse Associate!

Responsibilities :

This position is responsible for receiving, storing, distributing and tracking the materials, tools, equipment and products used on the project using a computer.

The Warehouse Associate is also required to perform general warehouse manual labor tasks such as running pallet jack, forklift and lifting.

• Fills requisitions, work orders and request for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Reads and records information on salvaged meters and / or modules and prepares meters and / or modules for shipping back to utilities or for disposal.
• Runs daily reports in inventory software to provide project manager with meter count and meters to be returned to customer.
• Operates forklift and / or hand truck to transport stored items or received shipments.
• Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• All other duties as assigned in accordance with the specific project.

Requirements :

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have a High School diploma or GED
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, and complete written and verbal instructions, have strong basic math skills for counting inventory, and strong organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Must have proficient computer skills, data entry skills (Experience using Excel), with ability to type 30 wpm.
• Previous experience working in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Position requires working indoors in a warehouse environment, standing on concrete floor.
• Occasional working outside for part of the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.

Working Conditions and Hours :

• Hours are Monday - Thursday 6 : 00am - 4 : 00pm with possible OT on Fridays.
• indoors in a warehouse environment, standing on concrete floor.
