Special Education Teacher Positions Near Toledo, OH
Soliant is currently seeking two Special Education Teachers for a school district near Toledo, OH. These full-time positions are available for the current school year, with a daily schedule from 7 : 40 a.
m. to 3 : 15 p.m. Each teacher will manage a caseload of 14 students in grades 6-12.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for middle and high school students
- Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation for IEPs
- Facilitate IEP meetings, collaborating with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Provide one-on-one and small group instruction as needed to support student learning
- Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as required
- Ensure pliance with all school and district policies related to special education
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid special education certification for Ohio
- Experience working with middle and high school students in a special education setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, record-keeping, and meeting facilitation
- Excellent organizational, munication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in both individual and group instructional settings
