Job Details : Coverage : Ongoing

Coverage : Ongoing

Specialty : MD / DO - Neurosurgery

Shift : 24 hour call (8 gratis hours) - 7a-7a

Setting : Call, Inpatient Trauma Level I

Position Open : 1

Required Procedures / Job Duties : Level I Trauma facility with primary call requirements- 24 / 7 / 365. Proficiency in general Neurosurgery, trauma, spine

EMR : Epic

Support Staff : none

Travel Preferences : Air Travel : Okay; Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations.

Credentialing Information : Timeframe : 30 - 120 days

Credentialing with other facilities? No

Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? NO

Emergency temp privs? Yes, 1-2 weeks

Requirements :

Active Unrestricted CO license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) - required

Board Certified Neurological Surgery - required

Active ACLS, BLS - required

Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked)

Clean Malpractice / Background - Highly Preferred

Willing to accept a maximum of 3 cases

Must include malpractice explanation or self inquiry NPDB report.
