A mental health clinic in Lexington, KY is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Mental Health Therapist to join their team!Check out the details below :

Job Type : Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting : Outpatient - Adult, Group
Location : Lexington, KY
Schedule : Full-time, days
Pay : Competitive based on education and experience, full benefits package
Sign-on bonus : $5K paid out at 6-month, 9-month, and 1-year mark
The Mental Health Therapist duties to include but not limited to :
- Comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances, substance abuse issues or inability to function or maintain in the community
- Assist law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and emergency detentions
- Assign persons in need of treatment to the appropriate outpatient program and coordinates inpatient admissions through the medical staff
- Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the organizations community relations program and continuous quality improvement activities
REQUIREMENTS :
- Master’s degree in a mental health related field (Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or similar)
- Licensed to provide therapy with or without supervision (LPC, LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, or equivalent)
- CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification (such as BLS, CPI, etc.)
- Previous clinical experience in assessment and evaluation preferred
- An ideal candidate would be passionate about group work and community growth
