Description
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.
This role includes administrative support, office maintenance, and coordination of office activities and resources. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, service oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Specific responsibilities may include :
- Creating, improving, and maintaining systems that help us scale as the Oklo team continues to grow
- Supporting day-to-day Oklo property operations, including facilities management and vendor maintenance coordination
- Assisting with in-office gatherings and events, including team and guest visits
- Video / audio equipment setup for meeting rooms
- Inventory management and restocking of office supplies; shipping and receiving
- Managing Oklo's apartment unit located in Mountain View - organizing maintenance, cleanings, bookings, etc.
- Hardware setup and configuration, including new / old computers, printers, and other hardware devices
- Providing remote hands-on support for the IT and Cyber department, assisting with on-site troubleshooting, equipment setup, and technical issue resolution
- Communication coordination for office and IT relevant announcements
- Helping to make Oklo the best place to work through our culture and employee experience
- New employee onboarding and orientation support
- Managing phone calls made to Oklo
Requirements :
- Located in the Santa Clara, CA area, expected to be in the office every day and within 30 minutes from the office.
- Proven experience as an office manager, administrative assistant, or similar role
- Tech-savviness to use an evolving suite of modern computer software and tools
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Office (bonus points for Box, Atlassian knowledge)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ownership of a project from beginning-to-end
- Passionate about our mission and vision
- Ability to create a welcoming office environment
Qualifications :
- Associate degree or higher in a related field (Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, Technology)
- Discretion in handling confidential information
- Experience in customer and / or technical support roles
Compensation
$80,000 - 100,000
