Radiology Triage RN
Job Summary :
A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient assigned to his / her care and is responsible for the patient’s care within the parameters of the Nursing Practice.
Responsibilities :
- Completes and documents database in Epic if needed according to the procedure.
- Obtains a health history and instructs patient for procedure / treatment in Radiology.
- Assesses the patient’s and family’s knowledge and understanding of the patient’s health status and capabilities.
- Performs routine assessment according to standards of care.
- Provides ongoing assessment as indicated by the patient’s status and / or problems.
- Develops individualized age specific plan of care.
- Implements physician orders, assists Radiologists as needed.
- Performs procedures, administers medications, IV therapy, moderate sedation, certain blood products, and treatments as outlined in the Nursing Policy and
- Procedures Manual and in accordance with the standards of the Nursing Department
Requirements :
Active Kentucky RN License.
Cardiac Monitor experience preferred but not required.
BCLS and ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
